A Tribute To Oreo My Cat

Oreo came into our Lives a beautiful little Kitten, When we saw him we were smitten,

He was cute, playful and fun, Behind birds and butterflies he would run,

He loved chicken, ice-cream and ham, he loved his treats too, His love for us was true, His eyes were green blue, He slept on top of the stairs, he jumped on tables and chairs,

He gave us love and affection and food always caught his attention, He was naughty, cute and sweet and boy did he love his treat, I used to hug him so I could feel his heart beat

HIs heart no longer beats, he no longer eats treats, but his memory lives on and on, Oreo your life on earth is done, but no one can replace you cause your love for us was true, Your memory in our heart will stick like glue, You were one wonderful cat and part of our family, God Bless You Oreo as you play in Heaven’s Patio

Rahul The Doctor

There was once a boy called Rahul, he came from a very poor family from one of the villages in India. He lived in a humble mud hut, his mother was the servant of the rich landlord. Everyday his mother Radha would go to work and make food for Rahul and his father Krishnan who worked on the land for the Landlord. They did not have much money all they could afford was one meal a day.

Rahul used to dream of owning a car and driving it, like the Rich land lord. Rahul did not even have a chance to ride in a car, much less owning one. But this humble boy from a humble family had ambition.He went to the local village school and loved to study. He longed to become a doctor and help the poor people in the village. He knew his parents could not afford to pay for his studies.So he decided that even though he was from a poor low caste family, there were scholarships the Indian Government were giving to intelligent low caste children to study.

Rahul decided that he wanted that scholarship and study well, build a nice house for his parents and provide them with food three times a day and not only that he wanted to help the poor village people who could not afford going to the doctor and buy expensive medication.

So Rahul studied hard and when he was in the 10th grade, he got the highest marks in his class and got the first rank and received the scholarship he had been waiting for.He decided to study in Chennai, but Rahul being the village boy had one problem, his English was not as good as the other students. So he went to university and spoke to one of his professors who was amazed at this brilliant low caste boy who was studying in the university . So the professor became Rahul’s mentor, The professor named Ramen decided to teach Rahul English at his house every evening as he saw great potential in Rahul. Ramen the professor had a beautiful daughter called Sita who was two years younger than Rahul.Rahul was eighteen and Sita was sixteen.

Soon love blossomed between these tow young people. The professor though being high caste knew if Rahul married Sita, he would keep his only precious daughter happy.So Rahul, passed medical school with distinction and a few years later Rahul and Sita got married. Rahul was a low caste Dalit and Sita was a High Caste Brahmin.

But my dear friends, trends change, life changes, Time changes. The negative boundaries put forth by the ancient ancestors, of the rich and the poor, high caste and low caste, came together as one in marriage between Rahul and Sita.

Radha and Krishnan were so proud of their son. Rahul and Sita went back to Rahul’s village where Rahul built a huge hospital to help the villagers, and Ramen the father of Sita who defied society’s norms and restrictions to let his daughter marry a wonderful low caste man was very happy as well.

Rahul had two wishes one that his parents live in a nice house and second that they are able to have three meals a day. The hard work and sacrifice they put for their son to study was accomplished.

Dear reader it is time to rebel about the boundaries put forth by people for people. Every one is valuable to God. It is time for rich and poor to come together, High Caste and Low Caste to come together, Black and White to come together.

It is time our world loves and appreciates every human being as a blessing from God. Next time you see someone different give them a smile and support them, whatever gender they are. The world is changing and people in this world are changing and evolving . It is time for change.

Cosmic Universe

As the sun shines in creation

I look in wonder at every nation

Lord God I ponder what is my destination

What are you making in preparation

As I look into the future in confusion

Your hand takes hold of mine

As I see your creation in utter fascination

This destination for the future nation

Is in this cosmic universe

It can not be reached with lots of money in your purse

But through love, forgiveness and inner transformation

This destination is open to all

Do not worry if you fall

Because He our master stands tall and reaches out to us as we on Him call

Money will come, money will go

You grow richer as you help the poor

Love is the open door

Seek God He will help you more

If you you have God by your side

you will no more be poor

This New World now has an open door

As you see this new creation in utter fascination

Only God could have created something with such magnitude

This “JESUS” is one awesome, powerful , wonderful Dude

This almighty God chose us even before we were born

To give us hope

Like you see the stars through a telescope

So during difficult times we can cope

Jesus is the answer and not dope

Trust Him and He will bless you and make your life new

Lord God of Security

I find myself in trial and misery

But your word of surety is my guarantee

The Bible is incredible

In the Bible our future is foreseeable

Why do I have all this trouble

My life is not a fable

But because of your Holy Spirit

My peace is comfortable

Lord this planet is so vast

So great and created with such magnitude

By thy Divine power of great altitude

When we pray we should have a humble attitude

Because you God of Creation

Knows our divine Destination

And your love and faith will travel from nation to nation

Oh Lord God Of creation hear my humble supplication

That all the wrongs will be forgiven

And in you a new world of love will be built

For thy divine destination

Thank you Lord God of creation

That your love never ends

And you and mankind can be friends

A Story Of A Little Bird

One day a beautiful little bird was singing on a tree, content as she can be

She had her four little chicks and she and her bird husband really clicked

Their nest of sticks was strong,

And she thought nothing could go wrong

But one day a wind came along and blew her nest away

But luckily she, her husband and chicks did not stray

They huddled close together

They thanked God the father for his protecting power

Little by little they built their nest again

God the Father asked the little chick

Why she did not falter ?

She looked up to God and said

Because you have power

And you are our protector

What I want to tell the readers is God has you in the palms of His hands

Whatever you are going through trust Him

And He is always there to help you and see you through

Love And Forgiveness

1 John 4:7,8 Beloved let us love one another, For love is of God and everyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that loveth not, knoweth not God for God is LOVE

Today I would like to talk about love.

L is for leaning on our Saviour’s heart which is full of compassion

O is for offering a sacrifice of praise and happiness to the lord who has blessed us by giving us His son to reign in our hearts.

V is for versatile forgiveness that the Lord gives us when we sin and ask Him to forgive our sins

E is for every spiritual and physical blessings that the Lord has given us and for that we are grateful.

My dear friends we have to love everyone. It is so easy to love those who love us and are good to us, but it does not end there we have to love those who have wronged us, mistreated us, who hate us and those who don’t like us. How can we love them you may ask? Think of Jesus on that cruel cross, where the soldiers spat on Him, whipped him, cursed him, put those nails in his hands and feet, YET our wonderful and great Saviour said “ Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing “ He is God he could have asked for 10,000 angels to come and deliver him YET he went through that cruel cross out of his love for you and for me. 

If Jesus can forgive them, how much more can we forgive those who hurt us, wronged us, ,  and hate us. It is nothing like what Jesus went through on that cruel cross. Forgive them and let it go. Do not talk about it or even think about it.

Let me tell you something interesting after Jesus forgave those who crucified him and he died on that cruel cross, that was not the end. On the 3rd day Jesus arose to glory, power and might. He now reigns in the Heavens as the Lord Of Lords and the King of Kings. Jesus was BLESSED after he forgave.

Dear friends forgive and let the bad things people have done to you go, don’t dwell on it, and you will be blessed. The Bible says Faith, Hope and Love but the greatest is LOVE. You can not love without forgiveness and you can not forgive without Love. Love and forgiveness go hand in hand. 

John 15:12 says This is my commandment that you love one another as I have loved you . It is our commandment to love.

There was once a missionary doctor in  Africa who lived there with his wife and son. One day 2 men from the village came to see the doctor and showed him their feet, which was covered with leprosy, The missionary doctor asked his son to get some warm water and washed the feet of these people, bandaged it gave them some food and sent them home. The son of the missionary said it was then that he saw God’s love in action.

We have to love our brothers and sisters not just by words but by action. My grandmother who I lovingly call as dadho, always had an open house and whenever we had visitors whatever food we had on the table she offered it to them, it did not have to be the best food which in India is Briyani but even it was just a simple rice and curry she offered it to them, now she is being offered food and love from our wonderful family friends. This is karma  what you give out will one day come back to you.

Let us keep giving love, keep being a blessing, keep being an encouragement , and one day it will come back to you.

God wants us to love and forgive, no matter how people have wronged you and hurt you, love them , forgive them and then let it go. Then you will have peace in your heart and the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will bless you . 

Let us pray and ask our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to love and forgive others who wronged us.

Our Dear Heavenly Father God, The Lord who created the smallest little grass , To the Lord who created the Great Cedar tree, Pine Tree And Oak Tree. The Lord who created the smallest little ant to the majestic Elephant and Lion . The Lord who created the universe, The Sun, The Moon, The stars, The sky and all the planets which keep revolving but do not bump into each other because of their perfect gravitational force. God what a great wonderful, powerful God you are. Yet you care for us and have good plans for our lives. Lord Jesus help us to love and forgive those who have hurt us and help us to let it go by your grace. We love you, honour you and thank you. In Jesus name we pray Amen.
