There is no sincerer love than the love of food. George Bernard Shaw

Hi there dear friends, it is me the Indian Aunty again. How are all of you sweetypies doing. Well I the Indian aunty am officially a size 12 now and my Irish beau who is my husband took me shopping.

I no longer wobbled but I walked but my dear sweetypies I want to drop 2 more dress sizes. So that graceful brown swan will emerge .

Love in human relationships is conditional but God’s love is unconditional. The natural human tendency is you scratch my back and I scratch yours. This is nice with your beau in a private Jacuzzi but coming back to my point love is almost always conditional but a mother’s love is unconditional .

When I gave birth to my beautiful daughter I felt such a rush of overwhelming  love to this beautiful helpless human being.  In my eyes she could do no wrong  and she was and is perfect. I decided when I got married I will love my husband unconditionally because for me I personally feel conditional love is not true love.

I learnt at a young age about God’s unconditional love for us and we are not Gods but children of an omnipotent or all powerful, omniscient or all knowing  God. This wonderful God who forgives all our sins no matter what we do because of His great love died for us on the cross so that we do not need to die to our sins if we ask Him to forgive our sins and come into our hearts.

I remember a time when I took part in a big singing competition my father Rev Canon Rajkumar Sathyaraj came up to me and said “ if you win or lose remember I love you and am proud of you” I came second in that competition but because of my father’s words I felt like I was on top of the world that day.

Our Lord Jesus Christ loves you if you are good or bad, if you  drink or have addictions he can set you free. He loves you unconditionally and we must learn to love others unconditionally which includes our spouses, children or even friends. No one is perfect and life is not a bed of roses and there are thorns and those thorns can include bad people but just write on a piece of  paper their names and then say it out aloud I forgive you and either tear that paper or burn that paper up and just see your life will be free of worry.

Hakuna Mattata  the Lion King song says no more worries give God your worries and watch Him take control by the way Hakuna Mattata is a good song to sing on holidays but we have to live in a imperfect world after the fall of Adam and Eve but let us make the most of our lives and happy Hakuna Mattata and unconditional love.

Peace , Love , Joy and Happiness to you all

Love  from the Indian Aunty who is officially a size 12 UK

Civilization as it is known today could not have evolved, nor can it survive, without an adequate food supply. Norman Borlaug

Hi friends this is Indian Aunty again I was overwhelmed by the words of Dr Borlaug how could man have survived on planet earth if there was no food.

The sustenance of the very fiber of human life on this planet is the ability to produce food to be consumed by the peoples.

From the dawn of civilization on planet earth .Man had one thought on earth the production and consumption of food for survival. If we look at Biblical history in the book of Genesis. Adam and Eve’s sons Cain and Abel both worked on the production of food for consumption of their families. Cain was a farmer and Abel a Shepard.

Food has evolved over time from the time man found the use of fire to cook food and the use of spices from the exotic places of belly dancers like the Middle East and the land of temples and graceful exotic silks and temples and beautiful dancers such as India. The preparation and consumption of food has evolved.

From the discovery of tea in India and coffee to the scientists who took farming in the developed  world to another level by using their scientific methods to form hybrid varieties of food more maximum amount of taste , texture and variety.

In the sub-continent of India of where I the  Indian aunty is from we have many kinds of soil for agriculture the most productive soil is the alluvial soil for agriculture this soil is very rich in minerals and very productive for plant growth. The alluvial soil is the volcanic debris that the volcano left and these debris are very rich in minerals and vitamins and the best soil for agriculture.

In the 21st century the scientists have found various methods of making the soils more agricultural. In the Middle East now the arid lands are producing food thanks to modern irrigation systems and ways of making the soil fertile.

“I am but one member of a vast team made up of many organizations, officials, thousands of scientists, and millions of farmers – mostly small and humble – who for many years have been fighting a quiet, oftentimes losing war on the food production front.”

Norman Borlaug

Dr Borlaug continues to tell us how the farmers in the developing world have to fight red tapism in order to grow their produce. In India many farmers do not have modern technology such as tractors and they depend on the monsoons for their produce of crops and now due to global warming these monsoons are unpredictable and these farmers do not have modern irrigation systems.

I believe that the governments of developing countries must help these farmers so that food production will increase and making the prices of food accessible for those in the poverty line so that there will be food for those who are earning much less than the average man.

In the 21st century where science and technology have developed so much where developed countries are setting up multi-national companies in developing countries such as India I read recently that IKEA is spending millions of dollars to open it’s shops in India. This will provide employment as well as help the Indian economy.

Now coming back to the small farmers whose livelihood is the growth of food on their soil many of these farmers are in debt and many starve even though they grow food we should help these farmers through paying for their irrigation methods and providing hybrid seeds.

My father’s younger brother Ranjit and his wife Suzy are farmers and one profound point which my uncle said in an interview was the land does not belong to us we belong to the land. If we look at this spiritually or philosophically from the time of Genesis. Creator  God created man and woman from soil and let them live in the garden of Eden. Man and Woman belonged in the garden of Eden and had to abide by the rules of the garden of Eden. The garden of Eden did not belong to them they belonged to the garden of Eden.

Now let us look at this politically every country has boundaries and people of that particular country belong within those boundaries and people within that country abide by the rules and regulations put forth by the government of that particular country. The land does not belong to them they belong to that land.

Now let us look at this sociologically the smallest social unit is the family and this family live in a home and people in that home abide by the rules and regulations of that particular home. The land does not belong to the family members they belong to that land and as generation goes by everyone belonging to that land sets up rules and regulations.

Now when we leave this earth our bodies go back to the very beginning of where we were formed back to the land. I have put up an interview of my dad’s younger brother Ranjit who is extremely intelligent and wise and I would like you to listen to this interview of farming. I believe that one day there will be food for all human beings on this planet earth especially those of the under developed and developing countries in this centaury of science and technology man should never go hungry.

“Food is the moral right of all who are born into this world.”

“I eat merely to put food out of my mind.” N.F. Simpson (1919–)

Dear friends,

“Namaste” this is an Indian greeting it is me the Indian aunty again. Slowly from wobbly wobble, from flabbity, flab the Indian aunty is emerging into an mummy again. I am still very voluptuous  but slowly and steadily the weightloss is showing. I am now 150 pounds. I can not wait to tackle the 140ish weightloss.

India is a developing country and slowly and steadily India is emerging in the global limelight for its Silicone valley not the Pamela Anderson Silicone but we Indians are better known for the Computer Silicone Valley as most Indian ladies are naturally endowed in the upper regions of our anatomy.

We also have Frida Pinto that gorgeous lady is snapping up the global limelight and of course we have our Cricket but those demi Gods have bodies of demi Gods. So now I have told you about the present India let me tell you a bit about our art and architecture of the India of the past when an Indian visits the temples of India especially of Belur Halebidu the carvings of women on the temples are voluptuous with ample bosoms and rounded thighs.

Let us talk about art in the west the most famous picture of a women in the west is the Mona Lisa and yes she was amply endowed and the most famous star of Holly Wood was Marilyn Monroe  and she was not skinny either and of course the women in Cinema of  India in the late 1950’s and 1960’s were amply endowed and man could they dance the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Smt  Jai lailtha was voluptuous and she still is and so is her bank balance but that is another topic we do not need to look into.

The world loved full figured voluptuous women but times have changed, looks have changed we are moving into a futuristic world and my dear friends we have to move with the times I urge you to watch a Hindi movie called Dhoom 1 and Dhoom 2 it is an awesome movie and celebrates Indian beauty of the 21st century but I am sure by the 22nd century the world would have reached a more cosmetic beauty enhanced world where cosmetic surgery would be like buying bread from a shop.

The world is going towards a more digitally  enhanced world I am sure scientists can even find a way to raise the dead. Medicine is moving towards a more brilliant ground. Stem cells growth, artificial hearts, test tube babies, cloning my dear dear friends we are in a world of where things that seemed impossible in the days of our grandparents and parents are now possible how much more so in the future.

We must not get stuck in the 80’s or 90’s move with technology and science and have a wider spectrum of ideas and philosophy and lets look our best for our children and grand children so that they will look at that picture and say wow Indian grandma was cool.

Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might ( The Bible )

My dear friends hi, how are you all ? Yes it is me the Indian aunty, I am now 154 pounds and from next week I am going gymming. Yes dear friends I have decided to join the gym. Like most aunties I do not like exercise but one has to learn to get that coveted Kim Kardishan or Beyonce Beautilicous Body. Many of you might find this surprising but I was always thin as a child and as a teen ager but once I got married the weight crept on slowly but surely and before I knew it I felt like a hot air balloon.

This happened quite recently we passed this furniture shop one day my husband and myself and I could not recognise myself in the show room mirror was that me, naaa some Indian Aunty but dear ones it was me…… So I decided step by step this weight will come of. It takes determination, will power but above all it needs God’s blessing. So I said God you did not make Adam and Eve obese but made them perfect. I bet if they were still alive they would be models for Vogue modelling with Fig Leaves.

But after the fall perfection was made imperfect and man gave into gluttony and obsessive eating or obsessive undereating. There is a thine line between the two. Food is not bad,Food is to be enjoyed be it Indian, French, Italian, Chinese or European. Food is not a master neither is it a slave very much like women. You can dress food, add those favouring to it sometimes it looks good to the eye just like women. But food can be given an over prominent place above God that is when there is a danger.

Never get carried away by anything, think is that helpful for my body am I going to eat that chocolate cake and then go sick it up then don’t eat it. Bulimia, Obesity,Anorexia are all extreme love or hatred for food. The first sacrifice to God in the Bible was food. God loves food ,good food, well prepared food. Food is to be enjoyed during festivities the first thing we think of is food. Christmas or New Year we love food our food.

With food comes drink I think every one has their opinion on alcohol but I think excessive drinking is not necessary and can be damaging but a glass of wine now and again is actually quite nice. But alcohol can be addictive so drink it sparingly I drink wine a few times a year but that is very sparingly.

Excessive alcohol can damage families, relationships and ruin lives so drink only when one needs to but this is my opinion and every one should be allowed to share their opinions anything. Anything in extreme is not good be it religeon, dieting, exercising , eating or drinking. So dear friends eat moderately, exercise and may we see a healthier tomorrow for ourselves and for the world we live in.

My weightloss Journey

My mother has been my inspiration on my weight loss journey. She has always been thin and never had a weight problem. She inspires me and is my mentor on losing weight. I am now 162.8 pounds. My mother has been a teacher for 20 years and now works along side my dad Rev Canon Rajkumar Sathyaraj. My mother is kind, loving and hospitable. I am very proud to be her daughter and hope one day my daughter will be as proud of me as I am of my mother.

My mother has never worried about her weight as she has never been overweight and she always eats small portion sizes. I dedicate this blog to my mentor and inspirational supporter who is my mother. My mother has stood by my side through out my life and I never have heard her complaining. She has always been loving and cheerful plus empathetic to people’s feelings.

I could not have asked for a better or prettier mum and hope I can be the sort of mother my mother was to me. I love you mum thank you for being the inspiration for my weightloss.

My weightloss journey

Hi I am tracking my weight every week. I am the Indian aunty who is shedding the the rice and curry pounds.  I am happy to announce that in five days I have lost 2.5 pounds of weight. I am 165.2 pounds. Every pound lost is a blessing. I hope to be a size 12 by the end of May and get back to my pre- pregnancy weight. As an Indian aunty living in Northern Ireland and married to an Irish man I have adapted to the Irish culture especially the Irish food.

As my husband loves Chicken curry and rice I love fish and chips. Now you can also get curry chips how Indo- Irish can one get. I try to eat smaller portions and  go out for walks when ever I can. I do not have a specific plan except to lose this weight by my 35th birthday and wear the clothes I would like to wear.

I wish all my fellow dieters all the best. We can do it and hope by God’s grace , determination and will power we can lose this excess flab and move on to fab. So here is me signing of Wishing my fellow dieters all the best.

My weightloss journey

I am writing a journal to track my weightloss. I am 5 feet 3 inches and am 167.6 pounds. I am Indian and yes I am a fat Indian aunty. My goal is to lose 67 pounds by the 18th of November which is my 35th Birthday to make matters worse my husband has just lost 4 stone and looks fit, trim and handsome while I waddle with him by his side like a force fed duck yes I do need to see a weight loss quack. As I look at my thunder thighs and thunder arms I just can not recognise myself.

How did I get this way by eating dominos pizzas, Chocolate bunnies easter eggs, and a chinese take aways me a couch potato ” No Way’ but as I look at my self in the mirror I see a middle aged Indian aunty looking back at me I can hardly recognise my self make up helps but one can’t hide those balloons behind my back oh no it is my derrière.Not to mention the ones in the other side.

My handsome husband was holding me in his arms the other day and he said darling you have love handles. Referring to the extra pounds on my belly and side. So now I am now taking the step to shed my pounds. I am not happy in my skin I do enjoy a good joke or two but if it is constantly referred to the latter word beginning with b and ending with tt that belongs to me I have to do something about it.

So now from today my first goal is to reach a size 12 dress by the end of May I am now a size 14. So my fellow dieters lets get busy shedding this weight. From size 14 to size 12. One of my favourite saying is where there is a will there is a way so next sunday about this time I will let you know how much weight I have lost. From Fat to Fab here I come.

A hypothetical discussion between a Messianic Jew and a Pentecostal Irish Belfast Bible College graduate regarding their views on the Old and New testaments of the Bible

“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning” John 1:1,2

Before time ever existed one thing existed and that was the Word. Jesus was the Word made flesh and dwelt among us. Before time existed Jesus existed therefore logically speaking the Word made flesh which is Jesus existed before time existed.

The play unfolds:-

There are two very important people I would like to introduce to you. One is Methuselah middle aged with salt and pepper hair, a big moustache and a bigger tummy with five children four girls and one boy and a wife named Hannah. Names of children are Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, Abigail and a son named Isaac. Methuselah has recently come to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour and so has his family they are Messianic Jews who have come to Northern Ireland on holiday.

My next friend is Paul, who likes to think of himself as apostle Paul because of the prophesies he has received from his Pentecostal brothers and sisters from the Elim Pentecostal Church. He is six feet tall, blue/grey eyes with glasses, very thin and scanty blond hair. He is in his late thirty’s. Paul is single and has a Bachelor’s degree in theology from Belfast Bible College. He is hoping to go to Israel as a missionary. Paul met Methuselah in Jerusalem when he went there on holiday and is hoping to get to know Sarah as a prospective bride. Paul and Methuselah have arranged to meet for coffee at Star bucks.

Their conversation begins :-

Meths:- Shalom Paul ( gives Paul a warm hug)

Paul:- Praise the Lord brother and stretches out his hand to shake hands but is overwhelmed by Methuselah’s big hug.

Meths:- How are you Paul? When are you planning on coming to Israel, the land flowing with milk and honey as Psalms 48:1,2 says “ Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. In the city of our God. In His holy mountain beautiful elevation. The joy of the whole earth is mount Zion on the sides of the North. The city of the great King.”

Paul:- Can’t imagine why God would send Jesus to that wee little land to fulfil his purpose in all the earth. He could have come to Northern Ireland ya know it is so green and welcoming, ya know man I am not patriotic but why the Middle East?

Meths:- Laughs out loud Oye ,Oye ,Oye, now you want to turn Jesus Irish. Jesus was born in a manger in Bethlehem in that wee little land of Israel, through Him all the nations of the earth will be blessed as it says in Luke 2:30-32 “ For mine eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared before all the peoples. A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles and the glory to your people Israel.”

Paul:-Jesus is all that matters, once we have Jesus who came to save the world from sin and sickness and we thankfully, glory to God, do not need the law. As Martin Luther says (Ahem clears his throat and puts on his most important look) We are saved by grace and not by the law.

(Just then a beautiful blond waitress comes up to take their order, Paul adjusts his glasses and stares at the waitress unable to speak.) So Methuselah gives the orders of two cappuccinos. Paul keeps staring at the waitress till she goes back.

Meths:-Paul you might as well hang a sign around your neck that says ’single and looking intently’. Now coming back to what you said about the law, A.G. Herbert in his book ‘The Authority of the Old Testament says “ it is never said that the Mosaic law is now seen not to have been the law of God at all, on the contrary it is God’s law and it is holy and righteous and good. It is never said that the prophets are right and the law wrong, nor is the moral law endorsed and the ceremonial law repudiated, on the contrary Jesus has come not to destroy but to fulfil both the law and the prophets.”

Paul:- That’s good, Aha, Jesus never came to die for our sins in the Old Testament. In the Old Testament they had sacrifices ,the Mosaic law and of course the prophets. But I says I like the apostles filled with the Holy Spirit doing signs and wonders in Jesus’ name.

Meths:- ( shakes his head) My dear boy let me take you through a journey back to the time of prophets and prophesies and how the Holy Spirit worked in the Old Testament. The prophets filled with the Holy Spirit played a very significant role in the life of the Jewish people and therefore in our lives as well. As I said earlier Jesus is the fulfilment of the Law that was prophetic. Now let me take you to I Samuel 16:13 ( Methuselah takes out his Bible from his brown brief case) ‘Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward.’ How did David kill the Lion and the bear 1 Samuel 17:49 ? The answer is simple dear boy because the Holy Spirit was on David. In the Old Testament the Holy Spirit was not a free gift to all people only a chosen few were filled with the Holy Spirit and they were the Prophets, Priests, and Kings. The moment Samuel anointed David with oil, David had a change in perspective from David the Shepherd boy to David the King. Now lets go to your favourite part of scripture Luke 3:22 ” And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon him and a voice from Heaven which said “ You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased”. From that significant moment in Jesus’ life, Jesus had the ability to work miracles and now this is my point dear boy, which portion of scripture did Jesus read at the synagogue in Nazareth after being endowed with power from on high? He read Isaiah 61:1,2 and if the Old Testament was just the Law and Jesus just came to give us amazing grace why would He read Isaiah 61:1,2 ? A prophecy concerning Himself. Now lets go to Zechariah 9:9 “Rejoice greatly O daughter of Zion, Shout daughter of Jerusalem, See your King comes to you righteous and having salvation gentle and riding on a donkey on a colt, The foal of a donkey.” This prophecy was fulfilled in Matthew 21:7,8 where Jesus sat on the donkey as He approached Jerusalem and the crowds lay their cloaks before Him on the road and Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on the donkey just as the law had foretold. Jesus fulfilled the law and the law was prophetic. Therefore dear son you cannot have the new without the old. Like two sides of a coin ( as Methuselah flicks a coin in the air and catches it)

Paul:- Sips his cappuccino, looks at the young couple who have just entered Star bucks and gives a gives a big sigh. He pauses for a moment, takes a big gulp of cappuccino and chokes as it is really hot, he gulps a mouthful of cold water wipes his eyes, puts his glasses back on and continues. According to J P Fokkelman in his book Reading Biblical Narrative

“ The narrative art of the New Testament can be found in the four gospels and the Acts of the Apostles. These books have been written in the Greek of the Hellenistic world of the first century. All of them move around two land marks, Firstly the person of Jesus Christ and secondly the group of texts that for Jesus, His disciples and the writers of the gospels and the letters constitute the Holy scriptures, The Hebrew Bible. Paradoxically, we can only speak of the Old Testament after a New Testament has been written and recognised as a canon.

Meths:- Dear boy, what are you trying to prove? We had the law first Exodus 20 :1-17, the prophesies, example Isaiah 61:1-3 and Isaiah 53. The Old Testament foreshadowed the New. The Old Testament was the foundation on which the New Testament was built. The New Testament is a prophetic fulfilment of the Old Testament. Jesus is the Word made flesh who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sins to fulfil the law and the prophets. Now coming back to a more personal level, You remember the time Rebecca was sick with typhoid I just prayed the Psalms with tears especially Psalm 42. ‘Tears have been my food’ when we did not have enough food in the house for our children to eat but by praying and fasting ( not optionally) God took us through that time when we were in Russia and brought us to the promised land of Jerusalem. Those prayers from the Old Testament worked and now we are here in Northern Ireland on holiday drinking Cappuccino.

Paul:- Takes of his glasses and wipes the tears from his eyes and blows his nose loudly on the Star Bucks serviette. Well Methuselah, it is great having you in Noren Ireian…. I agree with you dear brother that we need the Old Testament to have the New Testament,

Let us pray, Paul clears his throat and prays with the loud voice that people turn around and stare “ Dear God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Thank you for the privilege of knowing Yahweh, Emmanuel God with us and at the same time have the sweet communion with the Holy Spirit. He then pauses and says God give me a wife soon, with a hint to Methuselah, adds someone from the Holy land he again pauses and says in the words of the song by Keith Christianson “ We believe in the Father, who created all that is and we believe the universe and all there is is His. As a loving heavenly Father, He yearned to save us all to lift us from the fall we believe. We believe in Jesus the Father’s only son existing before time had begun a sacrifice for sin, He died and rose again to ransom sinful men we believe. We believe in the Spirit who makes believers one, our hearts are filled with His presence the Comforter has come. The kingdom unfolds in His plan, unhindered by quarrels of man His church upheld by his hand we believe. Though the earth be removed and time be no more these truths are secure, God’s word shall endure whatever may change these things are sure we believe. So if the mountains are cast down into the plains when Kingdoms all crumble this one remains, Our faith is not subject to seasons of man with our fathers we proclaim. We believe our Lord will come as He said, The land and the sea will give up their dead His children will reign with Him as their head, we believe, we believe.

Amen

Europa Hotel

The Europa Hotel

Introduction:-

It is a warm spring evening around 7:30 pm. Some diners are already having their evening meal. Europa is known for its renowned chef and delicious food.

The diners include a couple of elderly women sitting at the table by the window, with white hair, pearls and large earrings they seem to be stuck in an era of their own generation. On the right includes a gentle man in a business suit with red tie reading a business magazine he seems to be waiting for somebody as he sips his wine. In the middle of the dining area is a family with two children under three years of age with the children taking turns in who makes the most amount of noise. While the mother and father try to talk over their children’s cries. Some other diners are sprinkled around the large dining area like wild flowers in a bed of grass.

1)   Till Ahem…. Mr Know it all and Mrs Agree to whatever he says enter the room. The Host seems to be missing so Mr Know it all claps his hands louds waiter, waiter he shouts so loud that the children stop crying and one of the old ladies who had  her earring aid turned way up spills the soup on her dress due to the shock of his shouting and clapping.

Till Mr Know it all spots a server and shouts “ Boy you there yes I am talking to you shouts Mr know it all as Mrs agree to whatever he says goes red in the face, The server is doing his job on clearing up the table and it is not his duty to be a host. Not knowing what to do he hesitates Mr Know it all shouts again he has been waiting 5 minutes Mr know it all shouts again “ I have been waiting for the past ½ hour and you don’t know what to do, do you know who I am “ Before the thin freckle faced boy could answer the host shows up and apologises profusely .

Mr know it all raises his hand in a dramatic fashion and is shown to his table followed by his sweet partner who is red at the face with blond hair put up in a bun, she is thin with glasses and she gives an apologetic smile to the freckle faced server.

2)   A young lady around 20ish, who has a business date with a leading fashion magazine she is hoping to be hired as editor in chief. All her life she had lived for books reading and rereading her books, she had read hundreds of mills and boon books. She was a hopeless romantic.

She was wearing heels and contacts for the first time. She had a pretty face her dark hair in a bun, her black tight skirt and white blouse buttoned all the way to the top. She was too shy when it came to men and never really had a proper boyfriend. She saw this dark haired man sitting at the table in front and knew who he was he was the man who was supposed to interview her. Her panic attacks started she did not see the flower pot in front of her which had a huge artificial tree and before she knew it she was holding the top half of the tree and her legs were around the trunk “help” excuse me she whispered as her eyes met the dark eyes of a stranger who was sipping wine. The host managed to help her up and in her enthusiasm not to show she was shy she put out her hand to shake her interviewer’s hand before he knew it the wine was all over his trousers she managed to  mumble an apology then she got a brilliant idea she took the hand towel and wanted to wipe the wine from his trousers which he said was alright but at her instance he wanted to hold her back at which the chair gave way and they both fell on the floor of the restaurant on each other.

Her hair had come lose and was around her face the business man who was brutal actually started laughing like a school boy so did the dark eyed, dark haired beauty Seana what this business man realised was this jinx of a lady was actually gorgeous.

3)Roberta and Robert both Italian in heritage but born and brought up in the Uk. Met on a cruise ship and realised they had more in common than uncommon. They had been inseparable since they met six months back and they had first laid their eyes on each other.

Today Robert planned a surprise for Roberta as they waited for the Host to show them to their seats the host gave Robert a wink and Robert gave a thumbs up sign and from nowhere three violinists and an opera singer emerged and as the opera singer sang Robert got on his knees and asked Roberta to marry him. Roberta let out a cry a squel and said the biggest “Si”ever heard.

The old ladies by the window wipped the tears from their eyes. The other diners clapped their hands. This was a rather romantic end to an eventful evening.
