Om Shanthi Om

Shanthi was a single mum bringing up two children Devi and Vijay, she had always believed in a God of creation, nature and beauty but after her husband left her for another woman from his office, her spirituality had waned and she stopped saying her prayers wondering if it was in her karma or fate to bring up her two children alone with no help from any where, she had not gone to university as her parents could not afford it and had got her married to the first  man who came along, so she decided to be a house maid and she was determined to give Vijay and Devi an education.Shanthi worked long and hard to provide food for her children, one day as she was going to work her slippers broke and having no money to buy a new pair she walked bare foot feeling the heat and rubble in her feet, she felt tears welling up in her eyes wondering where He was not her husband but the one she loved and believed in as a child, didn’t He care, there was no one to console her, no one to be there for her why oh why Lord she felt her heart cry

Suddenly there was a tender hand on her shoulder with twinkling eyes and a soft sweet expression on his face, he handed her a handkerchief she smiled and thanked him he was wearing a simple crisp white shirt and plain black trousers, he must have been around 40 years old.Shanthi who had been neglected, alone, and in desperation seeing the love in his beautiful brown eyes held on to his hands and wept aloud, she felt his hands on her shoulder and after she wept, He asked her, her name she said Shanthi meaning peace and out of gratitude she asked his name he said Yesudas meaning Jesus, he said talk to me do not be scared tell me why you are so upset, as she poured out her heart to Yesu, she felt a peace come over her.

He asked her where she lived and about her children Vijay and Devi, that evening she cooked rice, dhal and potato curry for her guest and the children showed Yesu their school books and drawing as it was getting late she did not want to let Yesudas go she had not felt such love and peace in such a long time, then as it neared 9.00 pm after the children went to bedYesu put his hands on her head and gave her an envelope He said one word to her Believe and just like that he vanished, as she opened that envelope there was enough for her to buy a house and live a fairly comfortable life she could not believe it she ran out to thank Him but there was no one there that evening when she went to say her prayers with incense in front of her God she was shocked yet filled with awe she saw the face of Yesudas smiling down at her from the picture.

Her children, grew up , went to university got good jobs as she was in her 80’s and sick in her bed she saw an old man coming to talk to her, she knew she had seen that face some where, some where from long long ago and then he said Shanthi time for your Shanthi come home she whispered Dear Yesu as she put both her hands in a Namaste position she whispered Thank you as she breathed her last breath and her spirit walked hand in hand with Yesu the God, Lord,  Man,  Three in one , The one she had loved all her life, till He came to take her home.  Om Shanthi Om.

Weight Loss with A Difference Part -2

Hi there darlings, sweethearts, munchkins, today I feel blessed and refreshed after spending time with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the good news is now I am 70 kgs and the better news is that Lord God Almighty is doing a new thing in our lives as a family, remember darlings the family that prays together stays together.

We serve a Lord God of love at the same time God gave us something that makes us so individualistic apart from our DNA, God gave us something called choice , yet God being Omniscient knew already the choices we will make and the road that we will take, yet He loved us so much He wanted us all irrespective of our nationality, gender,  wealth, He wanted us all to be Saved and go to Heaven. Yet there were people who took the wrong path and did bad things yet God loves them and died for them on the cross and loves them just as much as you and me.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life “

Beloved He” God” loves us so much, He knows what is best for us and even if you have made some wrong choices it is never too late to come back to God, He “ The Saviour” is waiting for you. Every one is a sinner yet God through His divine grace and mercy has forgiven us and is waiting for us with open arms.

Remember you are loved, you are worthy, you are beautiful, you are special and yes God has a wonderful plan for your life, He is reaching out his hand to you, a hand of love , forgiveness, and peace take his hand, It is Never too late. God can change time and seasons with one word. He is that great, yet he humbled himself to be born in a manger.

This Season let us live life with a reason, Know God loves you through grace your sins are forgiven and through justification, your introspection has had a transformation, let us preach to the Nations about our Lord God Creator of Creation.Image

A Different View To Weightloss

Hi there dear darlings, fellow dieters, and lovely friends. This Week has had it’s good points and some bad points as well. The good points being I am now 71kgs and bad points I have had a bad flu and sore throat. But darlings look on the brighter side, if you are sick today, but I believe I will be well tomorrow, you may say don’t make such assumptions aunty,

 

Let me tell you a little secret when I was 4 years old I got severe allergic bronchitis asthma, it was that bad the Doctor’s told my parents I will die but God by His grace and favour saved me and healed me.

 

 When I was older in my twenty’s I got depression, my life had crumbled the dreams of getting married or even having a job seemed impossible but let me tell you darling my Lord God in his favour and mercy let me get a great job or a few jobs, then when I was ready for marriage God brought my husband in my late twenty’s into my life and even though he knew about my depression This man of God accepted to marry me. Now that is what our Lord God does for His children.

 

I am now healed and well, cook, clean , do the laundry, dance ( when no ones watching) sing my heart out when my daughter goes to school and write when my daughter goes to bed, this is where my awesome Lord has kept me for this moment in time, Christmas is coming planning outfits for my daughter and planning Christmas presents for the family is exciting.

 

I thank God for what I have and I also thank my Lord for helping me lose weight, I am just a quiet ( most of the time) ordinary housewife placed in this great cosmic universe on planet earth, in  the country  of United Kingdom in Northern Ireland in County Armagh In city Lurgan, I am just a teeny weeny speck on the map, yes I do like cooking, singing and writing but above all I am thankful To the Lord God Almighty for giving me the privilege of knowing Him and giving me a wonderful family, all I can say is Thank you Lord if you can use nothing to write something, you can use me. “ Here Am I Lord Send Me “( The Bible)Image

The Wizard Of War And Lust and The Wizard Of Peace and Love

ImageDear young ones, yes I am talking to the teenage strata of Society the confused batch wondering “am I a girl or woman” and you heavy metal gothic fans wondering what the heck? ”you talking to me can’t you see that I am busy chewing gum and listening to M&M”, and you girls out there dying your hair bright red, with matching lipstick and short shorts as the shorts can’t get any shorter and showing of your flat tummy that any middle aged lady would pay a fortune for, yes you my confused, gorgeous, intellectual, young ones this story is for you,

Here it goes,

When the world was a mass and void of life and any form of flora and fauna there was a wonderful awesome being that ruled the planets, the universes, stars and sky and that wonderful being , being imaginative, creative, awe inspiring, miracle working, unattainable yet sustainable being ruled the worlds and he made the Good, after he made the  Good he took a rest “like some of you young ones do locked up in your rooms for hours telling your folks you are doing your  home work while you are actually on the phone talking about who you want to take to the prom, or on your x-box, or trying out the new hairdo or make up you checked out on you tube”.

When this great awesome being finished creating the good, he created the awesome spiritual beings called angels. These angels were created to unconditionally obey, love and reverence this creator of good, then this creator of good evolved life forms, animals on land, birds on trees and fish in water and yes he made some master pieces. Of these animal and Mammalia life forms, but then this creator of Good performed the most astonishing beautiful life forms called “man and woman” they were exquisitely beautiful and intelligent like many of you young ones though all your folks here is “duh, yeah and cool and just chillin”.

Then this awesome Being decided to create magic as he knew if he did not create magic, the angels would so then the birth of the wizards were fore knowledgeably appointed. The Wizards were created with every knowledge of magic, reading the signs of stars, of angels.  Worse still the one who led to the downfall of good making it bad as well.

” Oh sorry young ones did I not tell you about him, the chief gorgeous celestial, terrestrial being who wanted to be the Ultimo Supremo Being above the creator of good well he was sent packing to earth but he did not rest he waged war and havoc and enticed the wizard of magic by promising more power and glory if only this wizard would obey him in everything . Yes darlings you know man is gullible” just like your mums and dads as you tell them you are going over to a friend’s which is partially  true but actually you are going to party, and I say be true to your heart if something does not seem right do not try it be it alcohol, drugs or sex, wait be patient and listen a time for sex will come make it special”.

This gullible wizard hence chose the bad, dark , path, of lust and war all he wanted was to rule the world and serve this magnificent evil supreme being that promised him power that led to death of mankind but rise of evil and darkness. Soon this world of good well was not good anymore with blood shed, war and havoc but then this supreme being creator of good chose a just magician of magic who obeyed the good and was not led astray by the evil supernatural being but chose the path of good and love, so the Supreme Being made this wizard an ambassador of peace and good and love.

Soon there was a big war where the heavenly bodies fought alongside with the earthly creatures the battles against good and evil of love and lust, in other words between sex and purity and power over enmity there was a lot of blood shed man against man, wizard against wizard, angel against angel while the creator of Good in fury of righteous indignation came over and stopped the battle with one awe inspiring wave of his arm.

It was then the celestial, terrestrial, beings and mankind and wizard over wizard looked at each other and they laughed, yes they laughed this supreme being creator of good also created evil and love and peace would never have existed without lust and war. As day comes into the dawn as night breaks through twilight there can never exist good without evil nor love without lust.

This supreme being made both good and evil according to his foreknowledge he knew his highest celestial being would aspire to be Him yet can never be Him. He was created for lust and enmity there can never be a perfect world. This idea dawned on the wizards at the same time as they saw their futility of perfection when there can never be perfection in a fallen world of lust and debauchery and of peace and love there was an uproar in the heavenliness when the wizards of both good and evil laughed and shook hands.Yes they were enemies yet they knew one could never exist without the other, like two sides of a coin as you flip the coin one day it is heads and the next it is tails just like there are no perfect people in this world so young ones enjoy your youth stick to your conscience and if you fall today remember tomorrow is an other day to practise doing good.

Next time you see a coin look both sides and remember one side can not exist without the other “if there is good there will also be bad”.Image

Made In India

Hi there dear sweetypies, my cho cho chweet friends, how are you doing this weekend ?  Today I am going to talk about “ Made In India” Have you seen the song made in India by Alisha. It was a very famous song during my college days late 1990’s it was a gripping song with an awesome message.

 

Do we really find similarities attract or do opposites attract. I think it can be vice versa. Love is a very strange and powerful force it can be used to unite or separate, it can produce strong emotions that are positive or negative emotions such as jealousy. I hope and pray we have positive emotions.

 

Women  I am talking to you, learn to love your husbands and do not be catty or B…tchy with other women, jealousy is negative and unattractive. I too have been catty many years back but my God has smoothed those rough edges and I try to see the good in other people and bring love and encouragement to them.

 

Learn to forgive sometimes the person you are forgiving maybe the innocent party after all and may have been inspired by some other people to do the wrong full act towards you. Whoever, whatever forgive and forget and let peace rule in your hearts,

 

Now coming back to made in India, not just the people but clothes especially Indian cotton clothes and traditional Indian attire such as sarees and kurthas are designed so gorgeously that it stands out as one of the most beautiful attire for women and men in the world,

 

Now coming to the people, Indian people are known for their intelligence especially in the computer field, indian music Mughals such as AR Rahman , Indian film directors such as Mani Ratnam and literary field my favourite author Rabindranath Tagore. Above all our freedom fighter through peace and non- violence Mahatma Ghandi.  These people should have got the Indian Nobel Prize..India a land of silks, spices, dances, exotic foods and cultures. It is a land one must visit to truly understand the world of India,

 

I am British Indian my husband is British and now Britain is my home land. A wise man once said “Adapt to the country you are living in yet do not forget your cultural heritage. Yes I am British yet every molecule in me is Indian,

The Human Race

Hi there dear sweet munchkins, how are you all doing. Today I would like to talk about a wide spectrum of topics, different colours but same spectrum. Much like our world different races, cultures, heritage but same world that has spinning like a top among other planets, circled by other heavenly bodies some visible others invisible that even a fraction of  gravatical inconsistence can provide a great catastrophe but for thousands of years nothing like that has happened.

Who holds the gravitical spinning powers of our world and other worlds? Guess yes it starts with a G and ends with a D. Yes it is God. All he has to do is just stop gravity or stop the spins and we would be in No mans land yes there would be no man and there would be no land.

How awesome is this can you really believe that there was a Big Bang and womph there was an ape no it turned into man. That is rubbish, we are not monkeys, we are not angels we are the Human Race. We are homo sapiens. We are human beings. Yes the monkey is a mammal and so is the dolphin, and whale and elephant these creatures have high Mammalia IQ but dear ones they are  animals not human beings. One famous argument is that if monkeys turned into man why are they still monkeys now.

They are   animals we are human and there is a  division between the two and there is a psychological, physiological and biological gap between the two. I am not just proud to be Indo- British but I am proud to be a human being if every human is proud to be a human being they make themselves proud in any endeavour they do the world would be a better place. There would be  more creative thinkers and more businesses and better corruptionless governments.

The people of this world have to stand up and be proud for what they have got, healthy bodies, creative minds, medical science bringing out more cures and research for better medications such as cancer and aids and stem cell regeneration. Do something people don’t just sit on you’re A and ends with S and flip channels on your television and then gossip and grumble the world needs more creative thinkers. Yes that is you and me.

We all come from the same ancestors  and we will go where our ancestors went before us. But we are living in the now, now will not remain forever it will soon be past and be in the past let your present shine and be the best that we can be. If you want to change you can change, I can not change you but God can stop alcoholism and drug addiction or any not nice addiction we all have bad traits and that includes me but we can let it go and rise up and as people who can make an impact in this world. I want to be a blessing and be the best I can be and you can too.

Do you have a game plan

My dearest sweet munchkins, sweetypies do you have a game plan for your life or your spouse’s life. If someone asked me if I have a plan the answer is realistic no. I wish I had a plan, I wish I can whisper my plans to somebody but the answer is no I do not have a plan. There are things that I would like but can’t see it in the near future but I do not have a plan there are always means to an end but the end is somewhere and like an island I do not have the  boat to get me what I want.

People say grow up act your age but I am me and I act the way I was brought up or society has made me. Every one has an inner child and we can push that inner child  or you just be you and that is what I am, I am me and not trying to copy or be someone else.

I am unique  as everyone is unique and I have my faults and yet I am me. No one is perfect, no one can have perfect thoughts or attitude but everyone has a bit of good and bad. I hope the good in me is greater than the bad.

Why the heck do we have to compare ourselves or compete with someone else maybe someone else has a game plan and you do not. Dear ones enjoy life, you are you and you are unique. If no one shows you love remember God loves you and He will never leave nor forsake you.

Maybe like me you have children who need your love and attention. Pour out your love to them and visit elderly relatives who need your love. What the world needs is undiluted, unsexualised pure love.

How can we love this way spend time reading spiritual books and prayer and meditation. Relax from your stress and worries. Do breathing exercises and then once you are energised you can give love to those near and dear to you. Don’t be selfish in love give a smile, or say hello or help someone in need and the God of love will shower his love on you.

Do you have a game plan the answer is No but my Lord has a plan and that is the best plan for my life. Let HIM the creator of life plan, seek his help and advice and any evil plan coming your way HE the Lord of life will destroy.

So do not be afraid or upset God has it all under control Believe and Expect the Best for your life. Life is too short for unnecessary, unrealistic ,competition.

So Smile and laugh and be happy. There is a song that goes have you got the sunshine smile or Colgate smile whatever smile and be happy.

Dear darlings, munchkins, sweetypies how are you all doing ? The poem above is one of my favorite poems.

I always wanted to be different and though I was able to fit into the mold of a good paster’s daughter I wanted to travel, to explore the world , to fall in love, and yes I did the  latter. I traveled, I went to different countries and explored different cultures still deep inside I was a paster’s daughter.

The cultures varied but inside I was a paster’s daughter I did not have the courage to rebel nor did I want to.

Rebellion can be a good thing or a bad thing. Martin Luther rebelled against the corruption of the early catholic churches and brought about reformation and freedom by justification of grace to the protestants.

Martin Luther King rebelled against white supremacy and today because of his rebellion we have a wonderful

colored President of USA which was only a dream in the times of Martin Luther King.

When the British ruled India, our great and wonderful freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi brought about independence to India by sathyagraha or non-violence.

Rebellion can be a wonderful thing if done rightfully. Our Lord Jesus rebelled against the Pharisees and broke boundaries between the Gentiles and the Jews and now we can accepted into God’s family of believers due to the breaking of boundaries by Jesus.

Dear ones if you want to rebel go ahead and do it right, doing drugs or over dosing in alcohol or bed hoping is not rebellion it is stupidity. So if you want to rebel rebel  go ahead, but do it for your benefit and the benefit of society.

If you were bullied or tormented prove your adversaries wrong do well in life, go to university, get a good job. Susan Boyel the lady who was tormented all her 46 years rebelled by going on Britain’s got talent and became a global sensation and those who tormented her hid their faces in shame.

Go ahead break the mold of society, travel the less travelled road, life is too short to do nothing if people are mean to you rebel and flash them the sweetest smile and say how do you do, maybe they are jealous, maybe they are insecure but my dear friend are “You”. “You” are not them, “You” are not everybody, “You” are somebody and that is why they are frightened. So stand up and make a difference in this community and the world. The Stakes are high the rewards worthwhile. God Bless from the Rebellious Indian aunty

Let Go Of The Hat

Hi there dear sweet muchkins, sweetypies, darlings how have you been ? Well this week I have been busy with my weightloss countdown. Been cooking healthy options and trying my best not to indulge in chocolate and cookies.

Weightloss is a journey that some individuals have to travel through. There are a lucky few that how they eat does not alter their physique but generous portions for the other half  lead to generous proportions of the latter half.

There was once an old lady whose skirt was flying high up in the wind but she did not let go of the hat that she was holding on to with both hands so a young man wanting to help her said “ mam your skirt is flying high up please pull your skirt down” To which she angrily replied mister  what you see is 80 years old but I only bought this hat yesterday”. 🙂

Dear ones let go of the hat what ever your worldly processions they are important but it is more important to to attend to the more obvious. It is time to let go of the hat and listen to sound advice. This advice can come through reading a self- help book, reading the Bible, or just listening to our spouse’s words, or mentor’s words. Some friends advice is genuine but there are others who can lead you astray or are jealous pray for wisdom to listen to what is sound and good for your journey on earth.

Choose your friends wisely and listen to the advice of your parents or loved ones who care about you. If a friend says sniff this drugs it is great Do not do it, you know it is wrong and it leads to death. Listen to inner  voice God usually speaks to us in this voice and if something seems not right you might just be right it is not right.

There are several factors that help us make choices when we are old enough to make decisions. It can be society, your family, your friends, your bosses, your colleagues but at the end of the day the choice is up to you.

Money is important but your loved ones, your spouse, your children are more important. May be you want to make a secure future for your loved ones it is true but neglecting them is as bad as spending all your earnings instead of saving for the future.

Dear ones it is time to let go of the hat and listen to sound advice or listen to your heart. Your heart will not lie.
